• Range — select a date range (from - to).
• Single - select one date (with optional time).

Flexible calendar settings:

• First day of the week: Monday or Sunday.
• Number of months displayed: 1 or 2 (The visitor can see several months at once, which improves comprehension).

• Disabling the current date (if disabling past dates is enabled).

On computers, the calendar is displayed in a convenient widescreen format. You can choose to view one or two months at a time—especially convenient when choosing a long rental period. All controls (buttons, date switches, price and discount display) are large and easy to read.
Tablets:
On tablets, the calendar automatically adjusts to the screen size. You can easily select a date range and view the discounted price. The interface remains clear and uncluttered, and touch controls are smooth.

Settings and features in the admin panel

The Booking module offers a simple and intuitive settings interface in the eiriQ admin panel. All parameters are quickly configured using switches, drop-down lists, and checkboxes—without the need to edit code.

Basic calendar parameters

• First day of the week : Drop-down list: Monday or Sunday. Allows you to adapt the calendar to your country's local standards and customer preferences.

• AM/PM Time Format Switch (available in Single mode). Enables the 12-hour format with AM/PM indication or leaves the 24-hour format.
• Disable Past Dates Switch. Automatically blocks all dates that have already passed, preventing customers from selecting unavailable periods.
• Disabling Days of the Week: Checkboxes for each day of the week. You can select weekends or other days (such as Monday or Friday) if bookings are unavailable on those days.

Notifications

• Sending notifications  Enables automatic notifications about upcoming bookings and booking completions.
• Notification Time : When notifications are enabled, you can choose to send them 1, 2, or 3 days before the start or end of a reservation. This helps remind clients and the administrator in advance of an upcoming rental or service.

Adding and editing 

• Adding an order  Allows you to create an order from the admin panel with selected booking dates and sending the shopping cart to the buyer or placing the order with subsequent payment (eiriPAY).
• Editing an order  Allows you to edit an order by changing dates and times.

Booking Calendar (Event Calendar)

The eiriQ Booking module includes a fully functional booking calendar that displays all bookings in a convenient visual format. It's a powerful tool for planning your day, week, month, and year.

All calendar types are equipped with a filter panel , allowing you to quickly display only the orders you need (by product, category, and date).

Types of calendars

• Day: A detailed display of all orders that start or end on the selected day. Orders are broken down by hour—perfect for precise workload planning and time slot control.
  
  
• Week: Overview of bookings by day of the week. Shows all bookings that start or end this week, broken down by hour. Convenient for weekly planning and resource allocation.
  
  
• Month: Classic monthly view. All orders are displayed by day of the month, allowing you to quickly assess overall workload and find available periods.
  
  
• Year: A summary display of all bookings for the year. Days with the most bookings are highlighted by intensity (from light to dark). A great tool for quick analytics: peak periods, seasonality, and overall trends over the past year are immediately visible.
  
  
• List: Displays orders as a convenient list for a selected date. Allows you to quickly view all reservations in text format without the visual calendar grid.
